Our mission of the association
We are committed to establishing a strong and sustainable physiotherapy service within Lesotho’s healthcare system.
Our Activities
Our work on the ground and online covers the following areas:
Teaching materials & knowledge – We develop new teaching materials for physiotherapy in Lesotho, update existing materials and make them available to as many professionals as possible.
Continuing professional development – We design and deliver continuing professional development programmes for physiotherapists and healthcare professionals – both directly on the ground in Lesotho and in the form of online courses.
Professional support – We offer online supervision and professional advice for physiotherapy staff at all institutions in Lesotho.
Database & digital resources – We continuously maintain and expand our physiotherapy database and the resource website physioinlesotho.ch, making both freely accessible.
Public relations – We inform the public in Switzerland and Germany about our work and the state of physiotherapy in Lesotho.
